Abstract | ||||
ABSTRACT Internet of Things (IoTs) is an integrated technology that helps enable innovative services by linking physical and virtual objects, intelligent interaction and machine-to-machine communication between environments, objects and overlapping information technologies, IoTs has found many applications in the fields of medicine, transportation, agriculture, manufacturing and automation. Hence, a smart automation system for a laboratory was created. The system will monitor changes such as temperature, lighting and ventilation conditions, and door and window opening and closing systems. Smart automated laboratory monitoring allows people in any organization to perform their work accurately and comfortably, Automation allows the user to control the laboratory remotely through his phone and also through a motion sensor and determine the actions that should occur based on time or other sensor readings such as light, temperature, humidity or control of doors and windows in the automation network, This reduces human intervention and thus uses energy efficiently and saves time and effort, The proposed system operates on an Esp32 microcontroller as a main control unit. It connects all devices to the smartphone through the Arduino IDE program and the MIT app inventor application via Wi-Fi.
