Abstract | ||||
This study focuses on the preparation of 1-(2-amino-4,10-dihydrobenzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-a][1,3,5]triazin-4- yl)naphthalen-2-ol (ligand) and its metal complexes of Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II) and Zn (II) using microwave irradiation as a green chemistry approach. The compounds were synthesized and examined by using various techniques, including elemental analyses FT-IR, UV-Vis, 1HNMR, 13CNMR, mass spectra and thermal properties to confirm their structural formula. The magnetic studies at room temperature for metal complexes were performed by Jouy method, but studying of Mn (II) and Co (II) complexes at different temperatures by Faraday method. Gaussian 09 W; DFT B3LYP method was used to adjust the geometries of the ligand and its Mn (II), Co (II), Ni (II), Cu (II) and Zn (II) complexes. Molecular docking study is achieved for All prepared compounds against 1BQB protein. Mn (II) complex exhibits the best energy score with value= -8.4471 Kcal mol- 1. The ligand and some metal complexes were tested for antimicrobial activity. | ||||
