Abstract | ||
The impact of the extremely low frequency (ELF), electromagnetic field (EMF) on muscles RNA and DNA contents in the muscles of the tilapia, Oreochromis spilurus were investigated. A significant variations in the muscles RNA and DNA contents in response to 5kV/m2 and 10kV/ m2 EMF field strength were reported. Both field strengths resulted in a significant decline in the DNA and RNA contents of the fish muscles. | ||
