Abstract | ||||
The study addresses John Dewey's pragmatic philosophy, especially the concept of experience in art, as he believes that art is not just an imitation of nature, but rather an interactive human experience with reality, combining the artist and the environment and allowing every individual to enjoy an integrated aesthetic experience. Dewey emphasizes that experience is the essence of pragmatist philosophy, and it is what drives individuals to adapt to reality and solve its problems. The study aims to clarify the importance of art in Dewey's pragmatic thought as a means of stimulating and developing society, and highlights the role of art in achieving harmony between the individual and the environment and developing the aesthetic sense, which contributes to the prosperity and progress of civilizations. | ||||
