| Abstract | ||||
| This study aimed to identify the nature of the expected roles of social workers that contribute to working with stroke patients and to arrive at a proposal from the perspective of general practice in social work to reduce the problems of stroke sufferers in Al-Wafa and Hamad Hospital in Gaza strip, Palestine. This descriptive study followed the social survey methodology using the comprehensive enumeration method, the authors prepared a questionnaire designed to determine the nature of the expected roles of social workers that contribute to working with stroke patients after testing the validity and reliability. The study was applied to all their number (10) social workers working in both hospitals. The study reached a set of results, the expected roles of social workers in the Gaza Strip's medical rehabilitation hospitals were high, whether, with the stroke sufferer system, the family stroke victim system, the institution system, community system, the study concluded by suggesting a proposal for professional intervention from the perspective of general practice in social work. | ||||
