Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to know the effect of social support on the adaptation of an autistic child to rehabilitation centers with different environments. The study was carried out on (224) of fathers and mothers that take care of autistic children in rural and urban areas. The researcher applied social support scale and psychological and social scale. The results showed that there are statistically significant relationships between social support and psychosocial adjustment, indicating that the greater the social support, and psychological and social adjustment among autistic children. The results showed that autistic children in urban areas are more than children in rural areas in social support, and psychological adjustment, and social adjustment. | ||||
