Abstract | ||||
Recently, organizations have been driven by various motivations to adopt sustainable practices that enhance their environmental roles. One such practice is green human resource management (HRM), which plays a pivotal role in helping organizations develop strategies that are environmentally conscious. Green HRM focuses on integrating sustainable principles into HR functions, which, in turn, leads to organizational sustainability. By promoting the sustainable use of assets, green HRM supports both environmental performance and innovation. Key practices under green HRM include green recruitment and selection, where organizations prioritize candidates with a commitment to environmental values; green training, which equips employees with the knowledge and skills to engage in environmentally friendly practices; green rewards, which incentivize employees to adopt sustainable behaviors; and green performance management, which ensures that employees' goals align with the organization's environmental objectives. Collectively, these practices contribute to a culture of sustainability, enhancing the organization's overall environmental impact and ensuring long-term success. | ||||
