Abstract
صنف الإمام ابن عدي كتابه "الكامل" وذكر فيه الذين ضُعِّفوا من الرواة، وفي بعض الرواة قال: "لم أجد للمتقدمين – يعني: من الأئمة – فيه قولًا"، وعند الدراسة المقارنة تجد فيهم أقوالًا؛ لذلك تتبعت الرواة الذين قال فيهم ذلك؛ لكي أقف على حقيقة هذا القول، فتبين لي أنه لم يصب في معظم الرواة، وقد جاء فيهم أقوال للمتقدمين، وأصاب ابن عدي في ثلث هؤلاء الرواة، ثم درست ترجمة الراوي دراسة نقدية مقارنة؛ لكي أصِلَ إلى أرجحِ حكم عليه بالتوثيق أو التضعيف، وهذا مدار هذا البحث.

Summary:
Imam Ibn Uday classified his book al-Kamel and mentioned in it the narrators who have been weakened and he said about some of the narrators: “I did not find any mention of them among the earlier scholar sayings". But upon a comparative study; you will find sayings about them.
Therefore I tracked out those narrators in order to know the truth about his statement. It turned out that imam ibn Uday was on the wrong at most of the narrators- as they had mentions in the earlier scholar statements- and he was on the right at a third of the narrators. Then I studied the biography of the narrator a comparative critical study to reach the most likely judgment on the narrator, whether being trust or weak, and that's what the research is about.
