Abstract | ||||
Cryptosporidiosis is an important zoonotic diarrheal disease of worldwide distribution in man animals as well water canals, causing about one million deaths annually. This study investigated the anti-parasitic and anti-inflammatory effects of omeprazole versus nitazoxanide and as a combined therapy to treat Cryptosporidium parvum infection in tissue culture. Histopathological and SEM examinations on infected tissue cultures evaluated treatment. The results showed marked treated and inflammation improvement with omeprazole over nita zoxanide combined treatment as indicated by histopathological and SEM studies. | ||||
