| يهدف هذا البحث الى التعرف على علاقة العمل التطوعي في الحج والعمرة بالصحة النفسية واتخاذ القرار المهني، بالإضافة إلى تحديد الفروق في درجة العمل التطوعي في الحج والعمرة والصحة النفسية واتخاذ القرار المهني تعزى لمتغيرات الجنس، العمر، وعدد ساعات التطوع، وتكونت عينة البحث من 149 متطوعًا ومتطوعة من مدينة مكة المكرمة، تتراوح أعمارهم من 15 عامًا فأكثر، وتم اختيارهم عشوائيًا، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، لكونه الأنسب لتحقيق أهداف البحث المتعلقة بدراسة العلاقة بين العمل التطوعي في الحج والعمرة بالصحة النفسية واتخاذ القرار المهني، وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة إيجابية متوسطة ودالة إحصائيًا بين العمل التطوعي والصحة النفسية، كما وجدت علاقة إيجابية متوسطة بين العمل التطوعي واتخاذ القرار المهني. ولم تظهر فروق دالة إحصائيًا في تأثير العمل التطوعي على الصحة النفسية واتخاذ القرار المهني تبعًا للجنس، بينما كانت هناك فروق دالة لصالح الفئة العمرية (21 فأكثر) وعدد الساعات (أكثر من 41 ساعة) فيما يخص الصحة النفسية. أما بالنسبة لاتخاذ القرار المهني، فلم تكن هناك فروق دالة إحصائيًا تبعًا للعمر أو عدد الساعات، أوصى البحث بضرورة تعزيز فرص العمل التطوعي خلال موسمي الحج والعمرة لدوره الكبير في تحسين الصحة النفسية واتخاذ القرار المهني، مع تصميم برامج تدريبية تستهدف الشباب، وتشجيع الأسر على دعم مشاركة أبنائهم في الأنشطة التطوعية، والتعاون بين الجهات التطوعية والمؤسسات التعليمية لتطوير مهارات الشباب وتنمية قدراتهم. influence on mental health and career decision-making. Additionally, it aims to identify differences in the levels of volunteer work, mental health, and career decision-making attributed to gender, age, and the number of volunteering hours. The study sample comprised 149 randomly selected volunteers from the city of Makkah, aged 15 years and older. The research employed the descriptive correlational method, which was deemed most appropriate for examining the relationships between the studied variables. The findings revealed a moderate positive and statistically significant relationship between volunteer work and mental health, as well as between volunteer work and career decision-making. While no statistically significant differences were observed in the impact of volunteer work on mental health and career decision-making based on gender, significant differences were identified in mental health for participants aged 21 years and above and those with more than 41 volunteering hours. However, no significant differences were found in career decision-making based on age or the number of volunteering hours. The study highlights the importance of expanding volunteering opportunities during Hajj and Umrah seasons due to their significant contributions to improving mental health and career decision-making. It recommends designing targeted training programs for youth, encouraging families to support their children’s participation in volunteering, and fostering collaboration between volunteering organizations and educational institutions to enhance the skills and capabilities of young individuals. | ||||
