Abstract | ||||
This study aimed primarily to identify the mediating role of belonging to the rural local community in the relationship between leadership and innovation in the field of modern agricultural irrigation systems using the causal steps approach and partial correlation analysis, in addition to identifying the level of each of: belonging to the rural local community, leadership, and innovation in the field of modern agricultural irrigation systems in the countryside of Kafr El-Sheikh Governorates. The questionnaire design for the independent and dependent variables scale was developed and distributed to a random sample of (291) farmers.. The results showed the following :-The level of belonging to the rural local community for implementers of modern irrigation systems methods falls in the high modal category by 56%, while the level of leadership degree falls in the high modal category by 73.9%, and the level of innovation for implementers of modern irrigation systems methods falls in the medium modal category by 56.7%. The results of the study also revealed that belonging to the rural local community has a positive partial mediating effect on the relationship between the degree of leadership and innovation in the field of adopting modern irrigation methods. Based on the results of the study, recommendations and future research proposals were proposed. | ||||
