Abstract | ||||
This research mainly aims to evaluate quality of the extension application “El-Mufeed in Food and Agriculture”, this research was conducted in El-Gharbia Governorate, from four administrative districts (Tanta, Qotour, El-Mahalla al-Kubra, and Samanoud) were selected randomly. The number of rural development officials was counted to 140 officials. A simple random sample from them was 104 respondents. The data collect through a personal questionnaire in April 2024. the data was processed statistically by: frequencies, percentages, mean, standard deviation, and weighted average, the most important results were: About 85% of respondents were found in the categories medium and high degrees of the total quality standards availability of the studied application. About 89% of them agreed that there were obstacles to their use of the application to a low or medium degree, the most important of which were: the lack of Internet service in the workplace with a weighted average of 60 degree, followed by the unavailability of computers in the workplace with a weighted average of 59.67 degree, then the weakness of the Internet among a large number of those targeted by the counseling service with a weighted average of 55.33 degree. Their most important suggestions to overcome them were: providing modern computers in agricultural extension workers’ workplaces by 98.1%, strengthening Internet networks in rural areas by 95.2%, performing periodic maintenance on electronic devices for extension workers by 91.3%, and training agricultural extension workers to use the extension application by 88.5%. | ||||
