Abstract | ||
Background: Problem-Based Learning is a constructive educational approach that enables students to develop solutions to complex, real-world problems. By fostering self-directed learning, Problem-Based Learning equips students with the skills needed for lifelong, independent, and satisfactory learning.The Study Aim: Evaluate the effectiveness of educational program about problem-based learning approach for academic staff and students on improving problem-based learning process. Subjects and Methods: Design: A quasi-experimental design was conducted . Setting: The research was done in faculty of nursing at Port-said University. Subjects: The study sample was 207 nursing students and 14 academic members. Tools: Data were obtained through problem-based learning approach observation form. Results: The findings revealed significant improvements in the observation scores of the problem-based learning approach over time. Conclusion: The problem-based learning program effectively empowered nursing students to achieve problem- based learning outcomes during the academic study. Recommendation: Future studies should also integrate objective assessments with self-reported data to provide a more robust and comprehensive evaluation of the program’s impact on educational and professional outcomes. | ||
