Abstract | ||||
Children's products require special materials due to their sensitivity and high safety needs, necessitating careful material selection. Materials directly influence the designer's creativity and decisions, each having its limits and features. Good design requires the designer to be aware of modern materials to utilize their advanced properties in designing products that meet children's needs.The research problem is that traditional children's products do not fully meet safety and interaction needs. Smart materials offer an opportunity to improve these products, but applying them effectively to meet children's psychological and physical needs remains challenging.The research highlights the importance of using smart materials to enhance innovation and ensure the safety of children's products, opening new design possibilities for their comfort and safety. The study follows a descriptive-analytical approach, revealing that smart materials promote creativity and provide sustainable solutions focusing on safety, interaction, and aesthetics. They improve product quality while keeping up with technological advancements. The research recommends further studies on the use of smart materials in children's product design to improve quality and safety. | ||||
