| الملخَّص: تتناول هذه الدّراسة الاستهلال السّردي في "موسم الهجرة إلى الشّمال" للطيّب صالح، بالتّدرّج في تناول هذا الموضوع ممّا ذكره النّقّاد العرب القدامى في تناولهم لموضوع الاستهلال وعنايتهم به، ثمّ بتتبّع مصطلح الاستهلال وحدّه المعجميّ من خلال فحص المعاجم العربيّة، من قبيل "لسان العرب" لابن منظور، و "تاج العروس" للزّبيدي ، ثمّ بالتّعريج على تحليل مطلع نصّ "موسم الهجرة إلى الشّمال" ؛ لنتبيّن واقعيّة تحليلنا وصواب منهجنا ، وأنّ ما ذكرناه من أنّ مطلع هذه الرّواية يُعتبر المولِّد للنّصّ الرّوائي برمّته والمختزل له في آن ، إنّما هو حقيقة فعليّة استنتجناها واستخلصناها من خلال تفحّص هذه الرّواية ودراسة أثرها الفاعل ، والاهتمام الكبير الذي حظيت به من قِبَل النّقّاد والباحثين في مجال الدّراسات النّقديّة والأبحاث الجامعيّة. وكان التّركيز في هذه المحاولة على بنية النّصّ التّركيبيّة، وحركاته السّرديّة. abstract: The focus of this research is on the narrative initiation of Tayeb Salih's "Season of Migration to the North." This examination begins by exploring how ancient Arab critics approached the subject of the beginning and its significance. The analysis then delves into the lexical definition of the term "beginning" through the study of Arabic dictionaries such as "Lisan al-Arab" by Ibn Manzur and "Tāj al-ʻarūs" by Al-Zubaidi. The study then proceeds to analyze the beginning of "Season of Migration to the North" to showcase the accuracy of our approach and the realism of our analysis. It is evident that the beginning of this novel serves as both the generator of the entire narrative and a summary of it. This conclusion is drawn from the novel's effective impact and the attention it has received from critics and researchers in the field of critical studies and university research.
