Abstract | ||||
Background: Gaming is an innovative teaching strategy used to be a method that helps students to be engaged in the learning process and inspires their motivation. It is considered an alternative method of traditional teaching which depending on fun and joyful learning. This study aims To assess the preparedness of nursing student toward implementation of gaming as educational strategy at Faculty of Nursing Damanhur University. Research design: Descriptive study design was used to conduct rhe present research. Subjects: It was be included students enrolled in the four academic years (n=350) using a systematic random sampling technique from first to fourth academic years. Tools: "Gaming as educational strategy" it was a student’s structured questionnaire was assessed student’s preparedness towards gaming strategy as innovative educational teaching method. It consisted of 38 questions in four dimensions to measure the preparedness of nursing student toward implementation of gaming as education strategy. Results: The finding of this study revealed that there was preparedness towards implementation of gaming as educational strategy among the nursing students was high. Conclusion: The finding of this study concluded that a highly statistically significant. Recommendations: Conduct further studies to evaluate the effect of games on nursing education, which allowing them to interact freely and improve their competency in communication. | ||||
