Abstract | ||||
Lake Manzala contributes about 5% of the total fish production in Egypt. The problem of the research was the increasing severity of the problems faced by fish farm owners and their impact on the efficiency of fish production and its development through the broad concept of increasing and diversifying production and improving its quality and the industrial activities associated with fish production. It showed an increase in fish production in the lake, and it was found that there was a negative impact on the prices of production inputs. And marketing margins on fish production in the lake, and a positive impact of increasing fish and feed factories and increasing exports. It was also found that approximately 75% of the sample size is working to increase the production capacities of fish farms in Lake Manzala by practicing activity in more than one type of holding as an attempt to reduce high production costs. The research recommended the importance of working to reconsider the pricing and marketing policies for fish in the lake every three years, stimulating the establishment of factories related to fish production within the geographical scope of the lake every 5 years, and issuing new licenses for industrial units every 5 years, in addition to developing export plans to export fish products from the lake. It is developed and modified every 5 years | ||||
