Abstract | ||||
Zinc oxide nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method using zinc acetate dihydrate as a metal precursor and NaOH at pH 9 using different temperatures: 100oC, 120oC and 135oC for 1 hour, separately. The synthesized zinc oxide nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-Visible spectroscopy (UV-Vis), Fourier Transform Infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and diffuse reflectance spectroscopy. Crystal sizes, band gap and color axes of the synthesized nanoparticles samples were determined using XRD and DRS spectroscopy. | ||||
