Research Summary: This research explores the impact of modern muralism in Europe, with a particular emphasis on the works of the Spanish architect and artist Antonio Gaudí. Gaudí is considered one of the leading figures of the Art Nouveau movement, known for his unique style that blends architecture and art. The study examines the techniques and methods employed by Gaudí in his mural works, highlighting how he integrated natural elements and symbolism. Key murals, such as those in the Sagrada Família, are analyzed, showcasing vibrant colors and intricate details. Additionally, the research discusses the influence of the Art Nouveau movement on muralism and how Gaudí contributed to the evolution of this art form, reflecting the cultural and artistic spirit of Europe during that era.
