Abstract | ||||
The kinetic and solvation parameters of CoCl2.6H2O alone and in presence of (α-H2T) ligand were evaluated. The glassy carbon electrode was used as working electrode with the other two electrodes, reference and auxiliary electrodes. The effect of cobalt concentrations on the estimated parameters was determined. In addition, the scan rate effect in absence and presence of (α-H2T) ligand was studied. The impact of (α-H2T) ligand concentrations on the estimated parameters was also evaluated. In addition to, the mechanism of the reaction was determined. Finally, the stability constants and Gibbs free energy for interaction of cobalt and the ligand were studied. | ||||
