| Abstract | ||||
| With the rapid and continuous development of digital technology and the emergence of the Internet, literature has also witnessed a remarkable and great development, as a new literary genre called: Internet literature has emerged. In fact, Chinese Internet literature contains many narrative strategies, and in this study, four basic strategies will be discussed: traditional narration, new narration, realistic narration, and female narration. The online story "Farewell Wei An" by contemporary Chinese authoress Anni Baobei is rich in these four narrative strategies; in addition to using the traditional narrative style, the authoress also relied on new narrative methods to describe the difficult situations that women face in real life. | ||||
