Abstract | ||||
- The research aims to design and produce a teaching model based on the characteristics of visual perception for the deaf, which helps stimulate his imaginative mental images so that he can form them into artistic compositions that have the characteristic of innovation.. The researcher used the one-group experimental approach. Through the independent variable (the teaching model based on the characteristics of visual perception for the deaf) on the dependent variable, innovative imagination, The limits of the research were limited to the research sample, which numbered 6 deaf students (degree of hearing loss) of 70 decibels and above, eighth grade. The researcher used tools, namely (a questionnaire to ensure the validity of the imagination scale). Innovative imagination for the deaf, a scale of innovative imagination for the deaf prepared by the researcher, - A questionnaire to verify the validity of the objectives of the teaching model (the subject of the study). The researcher applied the innovative imagination scale in its final form beforehand to the research sample, then she applied the proposed teaching model (the subject of the study), and then she applied the same measure afterward to the same sample. - Accordingly, the researcher corrected the scale and compensated for each response. . The overall results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores obtained by all sample members in the pre- and post-performance in terms of innovative imagination, in favor of the post-performance. - Keywords: Visual perception.
