The furniture industry is one of the oldest industries known to humankind. Since ancient times, the need for a place to sit, sleep, and store belongings has been essential. Over the ages, the furniture industry has evolved, resulting in a great diversity of designs and materials. The focus on the aesthetics and structure of a piece of furniture is a key aspect, alongside considering its functionality and intended use. Furniture can be categorized based on its purpose, encompassing a wide range of pieces, from chairs and tables to beds, cabinets, and many others. The materials used in furniture manufacturing vary, including wood, metals, glass, plastic, and more, offering designers and manufacturers a broad spectrum of options to create pieces that combine beauty with functionality. Over time, the furniture industry has undergone significant development, transitioning from intricate handmade craftsmanship to industrial production. This research adopts a descriptive-analytical approach, describing and analyzing strategies and technologies, the role of technological advancements, modern design trends, and the factors influencing the furniture industry in the modern era.. | ||||
