Abstract | ||||
In the era of digital transformation, higher education institutions must develop adaptive strategies to remain competitive and innovative. This study examines the role of digital leadership in fostering organizational innovation, with a particular focus on the mediating role of digital organizational culture. Grounded in Dynamic Capabilities Theory (DCT), this research explores how digital leadership influences innovation within Saudi higher education institutions and how digital culture enhances this relationship. A quantitative research design was employed, collecting survey data from 450 faculty members, administrators, and digital transformation leaders across various Saudi universities. The findings indicate that digital leadership significantly influences organizational innovation, both directly and indirectly, through digital organizational culture. The results confirm that a strong digital culture bridges the gap between leadership initiatives and innovation, ensuring the sustainability of digital transformation efforts. The study provides theoretical insights into leadership-driven cultural change and offers practical recommendations for enhancing digital transformation strategies in higher education. By aligning with Saudi Vision 2030’s educational objectives, this research highlights the importance of fostering digital leadership capabilities and cultural transformation to drive long-term innovation in academia. | ||||
