| شغلت اتفاقيات السلام جزءا كبيرا من تاريخ العلاقات بين إنجلترا وأسكتلندا، وتعود بدايتها إلى عصر الأنجلو-سكسون في إنجلترا وعصر ممالك ما قبل الوحدة في أسكتلندا، وقد شهدت فترة الدراسة (1072 – 1139م) عقد العديد من الاتفاقيات بين البلدين، منها اتفاقية أبيرنثي عام 1072م، واتفاقية لوثيان عام 1093م، واتفاقية درهام الأولى عام 1136م، واتفاقية درهام الثانية عام 1139م، ومثل الصراع الحدودي بين إنجلترا وأسكتلندا العامل الرئيسي لعقد هذه الاتفاقيات، وخاصة الصراع على الأملاك الإقطاعية على تلك الحدود، وكان للملوك والنبلاء داخل البلدين الدور الرئيسي في تحريك الأحداث، ومن ثم في عقد الاتفاقيات. كلمات دالة: إنجلترا – أسكتلندا – اتفاقيات السلام – مالكولم الثالث- وليام الفاتح – وليام الثاني – ديفيد الأول – ستيفن – أبيرنثي – لوثيان – درهام. Abstract: The agreements of peace have occupied a large part of the history of relations between England and Scotland, and their beginnings date back to the Anglo-Saxon era in England and the era of the pre-unified kingdoms in Scotland, and the study period (1072-1139 AD) witnessed the conclusion of many agreements between the two countries, including the Abernethy agreement in 1072 AD, the Lothian agreement in 1093 AD, the First Durham agreement in 1136 AD, and the Second Durham agreement in 1139 AD. and the border conflict between England and Scotland was the main factor in concluding these agreements, especially the conflict over feudal properties on those borders. The kings and nobles within the two countries played the main role in moving events, and then in concluding the agreements.
