Abstract | ||||
This research aims to identify the level of participation and its impact on governance in the Egyptian Wrestling Federation. The authors used the descriptive approach because it is appropriate to the nature of the research, the authors chose the basic and pilot study group using the stratified random method from among the members of the research community (coaches - referees - administrators - Egyptian Wrestling Federation employees - members of the boards of directors of the Egyptian Wrestling Federation and sub-regions). The number of members of the main study were (179) participants, the pilot study also consisted of (30) participants from outside the main group. The authors presented to the groups a tool for collecting data (questionnaire) after standardizing the scientific verification on the questionnaire, which consisted of (15) phrases in its final form. The most important results were that the Egyptian Wrestling Federation clearly outlines its goals and policies to clubs and referees, but there is little interest in involving clubs and referees in its decision-making. The Egyptian Wrestling Federation also does not allow stakeholders to evaluate its performance or that of its committees, nor does it involve clubs and referees in determining the Egyptian Wrestling Federation's policies and goals. There is also a legal system that allows Egyptian Wrestling Federation employees to defend their rights but does not allow Egyptian Federation employees to participate in setting evaluation and accountability rules. | ||||
