Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to measure the impact of corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives by gas production companies on the Omani economy, with a focus on how these initiatives contribute to achieving the goals of Oman Vision 2040. The results indicate that CSR initiatives contribute to increasing the gross domestic product (GDP), improving the standard of living for local communities, attracting foreign investments, and enhancing corporate reputation. These efforts also help strike a balance between economic, social, and environmental objectives, thereby supporting sustainable development. However, companies face challenges in implementing these initiatives, which calls for strengthening public-private partnerships and increasing investment in education and training. The study provides practical recommendations to enhance the role of CSR in supporting the Omani economy and achieving the goals of the national vision. | ||||
