| This paper is concerned with the problem of estimating, on the basis of a type II censored sample from the Raleigh distribution, the scale parameter and the reliability function. Different criteria ,namely: unbiasedness, equivariance, Bayes and admissibility are considered. Relations among the estimators obtained using those criteria are also discussed. | ||||
