Abstract | ||||
Twenty two insect species were recorded. Pests represented 89.29% while predators represented 7.5%. Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) constituted 53.34% of the total cath. Results showed an insignificant negative correlation occurred between monthly catch of both Paederus alfierii (Koch.) and both of Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) and S.exigua (Hb.) caught by a light trap during 8 months of investigation. The partial regression values of maximum and minimum temperature and relative humidity on populations of P.alfierii, S.littoralis and S.exigua were significant. Also, it was noticed that irrigation increase the catch. | ||||
