Abstract | ||||
Three different pea cultivarsMaster B ،Jaguar and Palmoral were used in this investigation to study the effect of cultivars and different doses of N mineral fertilization along with three isolates of N2-fixing bacteria (Rhizobium) on growth, yield and chemical composition of those cultivars. Results showed that the three cultivars varied in their flowering time and yield production and almost behaved different under mineral and bio-fertilization. The bio-fertilization increased the plants vegetative growth, yield and yield components. Furthermore, the bio-fertilization increased the quality of seeds and their protein content,but reduced their contents of nitrate and nitrite in comparison with those fertilized by N mineral fertilization only. | ||||
