| Abstract | ||||
| يتناول هذا البحث بالدراسة والتحليل الرواة الذين قال فيهم الإمام أبو داود السجستاني "لا أعرفه" أو نحو ذلك من العبارات، وذلك من خلال تتبع سؤالات الآجري له. وقد بلغ عدد هؤلاء الرواة سبعة عشر راوياً. ركز البحث على بيان مقصود الإمام أبي داود من هذه العبارة، وهل تعني جهالة العين أو الحال، مع مقارنة أقواله بأقوال غيره من النقاد. وتبين أن عبارة "لا أعرفه" ليست حكما بالجرح أو التعديل، بل هي إخبار عن حال الناقد نفسه من عدم المعرفة بالراوي، مما يدل على أمانة النقاد في تحري حال الرواة قبل إصدار الأحكام عليهم. كما اتضح أن أكثر الرواة الذين قال فيهم أبو داود "لا أعرفه" كانوا مجهولين أو ضعفاء عند غيره من النقاد، وأنه وقع اختلاف في قلة من الرواة بين التوثيق والجرح، مع غلبة أقوال الجرح أو التجهيل. وقد أوصى البحث بضرورة دراسة مصطلحات الأئمة النقاد وربطها بمناهجهم في الجرح والتعديل، والعمل على إنشاء معجم تحليلي لمصطلحات الجرح والتعديل، يتتبع السياقات التاريخية والتطبيقية لها. This research investigates and analyzes the narrators about whom Imam Abu Dawood al-Sijistani said, "I do not know him," or similar expressions, based on his responses recorded in al-Ajurry's "Questions." The total number of such narrators reached seventeen. The study focused on clarifying the intent behind Abu Dawood's use of this phrase: whether it indicated ignorance of the narrator’s identity or status. It also compared his evaluations with those of other hadith critics. It became evident that the phrase "I do not know him" does not constitute a formal judgment of criticism or praise but rather reflects the critic's personal lack of information about the narrator, showcasing the scholars' integrity in evaluating narrators only based on verified knowledge. Furthermore, the study found that most narrators whom Abu Dawood described this way were considered unknown or weak by other scholars. Minor disagreements arose concerning a few narrators, but the majority of assessments leaned toward weakening or declaring them unknown. The research recommends the systematic study of the terminology used by hadith critics, linking it to their methodologies in jarh and ta'dil (narrator evaluation), and the development of an analytical dictionary for hadith evaluation terms, considering their historical and practical contexts. | ||||
