Abstract | ||||
The purpose of this research is to investigate the impact that Transformational Leadership (TL) has on Employee Sustainable Performance (ESP), within the context of the Egyptian Petroleum & Mineral Resources Sector, using Employee Engagement (EEG) as the mediating variable. This study aims to develop a model to examine the interrelationship between variables through structural equation modeling. The research employs quantitative analysis through a questionnaire to collect necessary data. The results were analyzed employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Analysis Moment of Structures (AMOS) software. the researchers examined the effect of the following factors as moderators (Leadership and Management, The Strategic Planning Process, Organizational Culture and Structure, Communication and Engagement, Change Management -Alignment of the strategy, drive to implement Strategy, Performance Management System (PMS) and Feedback) in the relation between transformational Leadership and Employee Sustainable Performance. The results reveal substantial correlations among TL, EEG, and ESP, providing important insights for practitioners and strategy makers in the Petroleum & Mineral Resources. This study enhances the literature by investigating. Moreover, the fruitful insights this study provides regarding the moderating factors affecting strategy implementation, such as organizational culture, resource availability, and regulatory frameworks, ensure that transformational leadership aligns with the specific strategic goals of the sector. This alignment helps leaders focus on sustainability priorities, achieving the highest production rates, creating the optimal conditions for promoting investment, and improving operational efficiency which are which are critical to ensuring Egypt’s energy security. | ||||
