Abstract | ||||
In this case-control study, 100 patients infected with Eris were recruited in Al-Numan Hospital in Baghdad City, and 50 healthy persons were also selected as a control group from July 2024 to August 2024. The results observed no important variations (P=0.94) in the levels of Toxo-IgM (IU/ml) among patient groups when categorized according to age group. Furthermore, there were non-important variations (P=0.93) in the levels of Toxo-IgG (IU/ml) among patient group when categorized according to age the levels of Eris-IgM (IU/ml) among patients group when categorized according to age group and there were non-important variations (P=0.77) in the levels of Eris-IgG (IU/ml) among patients group when categorized according to age group. But there were non-important variations (P-value=0.36) in the levels of IL-1β (Pg/ml) among patient groups when categorized according to age group. Moreover, there were non-significant variations (P=0.91) in the levels of IL-10 (Pg/ml) among patient groups when categorized according to age group and non-significant differences (P=0.33) in the levels of TNF-α (Pg/ml) among patient groups when categorized according to age group. Furthermore, a mutation happened in IL-1ß genes at rs16944 and rs1143627 SNPs, and wild TT is altered to T>C compared to the control group, and CC is altered to C>T compared to the control group in Eris Covid coinfection with toxoplasmosis. Also, A mutation happened in IL-10 genes at rs1800871 and rs1800872 SNPs, and wild TT is altered to T>C compared to the control group, and AA is altered to A>C compared to the control group in Eris Coved Coinfection with Toxoplasmosis. | ||||
