Abstract | ||||
This investigation was carried out to study the effect of irrigation intervals and phosphorus fertilizer on vegetative growth and oil yield, at Farm of Medicinal Plant, Dokki during 1992-1993 and 1993-1994 seasons. Three levels of irrigation intervals (every one, two and three weeks) and three levels of calcium superphosphate 0,150 and 300 Kg/ Feddan were also used. The results showed that 150 Kg superphosphate per feddan, and weekly irrigation caused increases in the number of urnbels, weight of seeds and percentage of volatile oil. It could be recommended to use 150 Kg super phosphate / Feddan and irrigating the plants every week. | ||||
