Competitiveness Tour guide Tourist destination Law of tour guides Silent tour guide The research seeks to highlight the impact of the silent tour guide on the competitiveness of the tourist destination by investigating the role of the tour guide in the tourism sector, showing the consequences of the presence of the silent tour guide and the extent to which, the Egyptian law regulating the profession of tour guides keep pace with the needs of the labor market. Through a study analyzing the answers of 153 questionnaire. The questionnaire included 4 main axis, the first axis 10 questions devoted to investigating the destination quality factor, the second axis 10 statements devoted to investigating the destination popularity factor, the third axis 10 statements devoted to investigating the destination's spatial attractiveness factor, the fourth axis 11 questions devoted to studying the tour guide and their psychological role on tourists. The study offers a substantial contribution to enhance the tourist experience through the expertise of fully trained Egyptian guides, in contrast to that of silent guides who do not possess a communication skill. The study presents a set of suggestions aimed at enhancing the role of the tour guide, which in turn reflects on the competitiveness of the tourist destination. | ||||
