Abstract | ||||
The process of designing the building requires extensive knowledge of methods of protection from the fluctuations of the external climate, especially in regions with hot climates, due to the change in the influence of the cyclical climate during the seasons, which requires the adoption of treatments Environmental design employed during the design stages, which leads to an improvement in the level of thermal design performance and raises it to be efficient in terms of its thermal performance and achieve thermal comfort for the occupants. The study draws a set of conclusions linking environmental design treatments to thermal control strategies (which are divided into strategies for the summer period and others for the winter period) and the stages of the design process, which showed the importance of dealing with environmental design treatments within a thoughtful and systematic sequence, which is the most influential for producing highly efficient architectural designs. | ||||
