Abstract | ||||
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of using diets containing DDGs with or without citric acid on productive and reproductive performance of local rabbits. The first part of the experiment used Fifteen mature female and 15 males Black Baladi rabbits at 7 and 8 months' age with average live body weight of 2900 ±100 g and 3300 ±100 gm, respectively. The second part used Forty-five bunnies with average live body weight of 511±13 g for 6 weeks growing period (5-11 weeks). The groups were fed ad libitum on the tested diets (T1: Basal diet without DDGs (Control), T2: diet contained 40% DDGs, T3: diet contained 50% DDGs, T4: 40% DDGs diet plus 1% citric acid and T5: 50% DDGs diet plus 1% citric acid). Feeding DDGs diets with or without citric acid did affected some reproductive traits of does and litter size at birth and weaning. While, litter weight significantly (P | ||||
