| Abstract | ||||
| This research mainly aimed to identify the requirements of rice farmers from the agricultural extension convoys of the Faculty of Agriculture, Damietta University, and this research was conducted in Damietta Governorate and three administrative centers were randomly selected through the basket from among the five governorate centers, they were (Kafr Al-Batikh Center, Faraskour Center, and Kafr Saad Center), and in the same way a village was chosen from each center, so the selection resulted in (Kafr Al-Batikh village, Kafr Al-Arab village, and Mit Abu Ghalib village) respectively, and a random sample was selected Using the equation of Cergesy and Morgan, 351 farmers were distributed over the three villages according to the ratio of each village in the comprehensive, and the data was collected using the questionnaire in the personal interview of the respondents, and frequencies and percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, simple and multiple correlation, partial regression analysis, and progressive multiple regression analysis were used. The main findings of the research were: - The majority of respondents (82.3%) have a total degree of requirements from the agricultural extension convoys of the Faculty of Agriculture, Damietta University, medium and high. - The existence of an inverse and significant correlation at the probability level 0.01 between the following independent variables of the respondents: the respondent's education, cultural openness, formal social participation, the degree of exposure of the respondents to information sources, innovation, and the trend towards agricultural extension and the degree of their total requirements from the extension convoys | ||||
