Abstract | ||||
Modified atmosphere packaging in fresha pac Film (High ethylene absorbent - oxygen permeability 100 - 300 cm / per hour) extended the storage life of five varieties of mango. It reduced the weight loss of fruits and decay (Mainly Anthracnose) and did not result in any off flavours. In comparison with other methods of packaging such as tissue paper wrapping or when using Potassium permenganate inside the container, modified atmosphere packaging by individual sealing in fresh pack gave the best results. | ||||
