Abstract | ||||
Fashion design complements the arts of drawing and painting, as these two disciplines rely on diverse artistic and aesthetic values. Fashion design is one of the arts that offers diverse visual values based on aesthetic, functional, and modern standards. When the artistic values of fashion design and paintings are combined using the art of decoupage, the result is an artistic work that expresses the spirit of the work, its originality, and creativity. The research paper is based on how to find aesthetic artistic relationships between pictorial paintings and the art of decoupage through the use of fabric materials as a simulation of decoupage materials through fashion design applications. The study deals with an analysis of artistic works of studies related to the art of decoupage as well as pictorial paintings, as the research aims to the extent of the possibility of integrating the art of decoupage and fashion design to highlight the features of pictorial paintings in order to achieve the aesthetic aspect of fashion design related to global fashion trends, as a questionnaire form was designed to achieve the hypotheses and objectives of the research, as the results showed the presence of creative vocabulary from the use of pictorial paintings and decoupage techniques as a source for fashion design, as the results confirmed the possibility of employing and integrating the art of decoupage with the arts of fashion design. | ||||
