Abstract | ||||
Oversight is an important tool for evaluating the performance of civil organizations and ensuring the achievement of their goals. Oversight contributes to ensuring that activities and projects are implemented effectively according to established standards. It also contributes to improving performance and enhancing transparency and accountability. There may also be a lack of financial and human resources to fully implement controls. In addition, observers may have difficulty accessing the information needed to evaluate the performance of civic organizations, and several oversight tools are available that can be used to evaluate the performance of civic organizations. Financial reports, internal and external audits, evaluations, surveys, and other tools can be used to identify strengths and weaknesses in an organization's performance and identify areas that need improvement. The government plays an important role in strengthening oversight of civic organizations. The government should develop legislation and policies that enhance transparency and accountability in the work of civic organizations. It must also provide financial and technical support to strengthen the oversight capacities of civil organizations, and the oversight process must protect the rights of civil organizations. The oversight process must be fair, transparent and respect the independence of the organization. Therefore, oversight must be strengthened, its standards must be developed, and the rights of civil organizations must be protected in the oversight process. | ||||
