Abstract | ||||
In recent years, sustainability has become a central theme in design practices, particularly in interior and graphic design. With growing concerns about environmental degradation, designers are increasingly turning to innovative, eco-friendly methods to reduce their carbon footprint. One such approach is the use of paper rolling art (also known as quilling) in design, an ancient technique that combines creativity with environmental consciousness. Paper rolling art has emerged as a novel way to produce unique decorative elements for interior and graphic design, contributing to sustainability by utilizing recycled paper and reducing waste. This paper explores the role of paper rolling art in promoting sustainability in design, focusing on how it can serve as a valuable tool in reducing reliance on conventional materials, minimizing environmental impact, and inspiring creativity among designers. | ||||
