Abstract The growing movement towards evidence-based practices, policies, and management has been the focus of extensive research. Evidence-Based School Management (EBM) has been shown to improve decision-making and bridge the gap between policy and practice. By integrating evidence into school leaders’ management practices, EBM helps address key challenges such as resource allocation and instructional quality, ultimately influencing student achievement. School leaders who adopt EBM use data-informed decisions to drive improvements, identify interventions that work, and build professional learning communities focused on continuous development and knowledge management. Despite its proven effectiveness and the extensive research published on EBM internationally, there is a notable gap in the articles that tackle it within educational leadership and management in Arab countries, particularly in Egypt. This paper aims to fill this gap. The paper adopts a conceptual approach, reviewing the extant literature on EBM in educational leadership and management to explore its theoretical foundations. Also, it analysis the local contextual factors affecting EBM implementation in Egyptian schools, Grounded in both the theoretical framework and the analysis of the local contextual factors, the paper proposed a conceptual framework that identifies the key factors necessary to promote EBM in schools Egyptian schools. Also, the framework offers practical recommendations for policymakers, school leaders, and researchers to advance EBM in Egyptian public schools. Additionally, this paper suggests avenues for future research and provides a foundation for empirical studies in the field. | ||||
