Abstract | ||||
The study aimed to identify the Iraqi satellite channels’ coverage of the United Nations’ activities in Iraq and their relationship to the Iraqi public’s attitudes towards them, and to monitor the most important activities undertaken by the United Nations in Iraq during the analysis period and covered by the Iraqi satellite channels. This study is a descriptive study that aims to focus on a specific phenomenon; this phenomenon is represented by explaining and monitoring the coverage of the United Nations activities in Iraq by Iraqi satellite channels and their role in shaping the attitudes of the study sample audience towards these issues, relying on the survey method in its two aspects, descriptive and analytical, by conducting an opinion poll for a sample of the Iraqi public. The application was carried out on a deliberate sample of the Iraqi public who follow the content related to the activities of the United Nations through Iraqi satellite channels (Iraqi-Eastern), consisting of (400) individuals, and it was identified from individuals in Iraqi society and it was identified from individuals in Iraqi society from the age of 18 years and older. .The study concluded that: 1. There is a statistically significant correlation between the intensity of the Iraqi public’s exposure to Iraqi satellite channels (Iraqi-Eastern) that address the activities of the United Nations in their programmes and their attitudes towards this coverage. | ||||
