| Abstract | ||||
| It is the purpose of this paper to explain the dynamic behavior of the household with particular reference to the housing expenditures decision, Our problem is to relate the Status and Imput variables which are demographic and economic characteristics such as age of head, marital status, occupation of head, sex of head, education of head, number of adults, size of unit; disposable income, income change and the value of house owned, to the output variables related to the hous- ing demand such as the probability that a unit will buy a house in a certain year and the cost of puchasing a house in a given year for the purpose of predicting the value of the output variables. Our work is in two parts: the first treats the data and introduces. concepts used, while the second focuses on the new model and the statistical techniques used. | ||||
