Abstract | ||||
The global airline industry, including Kuwait Airways, has experienced substantial financial losses due to crises like the COVID-19 pandemic. These losses have impacted the company's balanced strategic performance, which includes financial performance, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and learning and growth. This study investigates the role of Environmental And Social Management in enhancing Kuwait Airways' balanced strategic performance during such crises. Key areas of focus include the impact of financial planning, investment decisions, financial controls, and profit distribution on performance, especially during the COVID-19 period. The research highlights the crucial role of Environmental And Social Management in directing performance efficiency and ensuring optimal use of funds, while preventing financial irregularities. Scientifically, the study underscores the importance of financial functions in achieving balanced performance and contributes to the relatively under-researched area of Environmental And Social Management in the airline sector. Practically, it enriches academic literature with an evaluative study of Environmental And Social Management's role, utilizing the balanced scorecard as a modern tool for performance assessment. The study finds significant gender-based differences in financial transactions with the company, indicating that Environmental And Social Management significantly influences the balanced scorecard dimensions related to customers and internal processes. | ||||
