Abstract | ||||
Measuring tourist satisfaction is one of the most complex tourism studies, due to the varying priorities and motivations tourists have for traveling to a single tourist destination. The more diverse tourists' priorities are toward a particular tourist destination, the greater the challenge of determining their overall satisfaction level, along with the quality of tourist facilities. The continuous rise in the prices of goods and services is one of the economic factors affecting tourism demand and tourist satisfaction with tourism and hotel services. Egypt is one of the countries suffering from a consistently high annual inflation rate. This is due to several reasons, most notably low productivity and a shortage of supply relative to demand. The current study aims to study the extent of the existence of a significant impact of economic inflation on the quality of tourism services in Egypt from the point of view of the domestic tourist, as well as to study the extent of the existence of a significant impact of economic inflation on the satisfaction of the domestic tourist with the quality of tourism services. 66% believe that there is a significant increase in the prices of tourism and hotel services provided to the local tourist, 64% of the responses were positive, as these prices actually affected the decision to travel and the direction towards three alternatives: canceling the trip, reducing its duration, or heading towards accommodation alternatives such as summer apartments and hotels. | ||||
