Abstract | ||||
The current study was to assess seven mango types grown in 2019–2020 and 2021: Keitt, Kent, Naoumi, Tommy, Yasmina, Shelly, and Jolk. Thirty-five (five trees x seven cultivars) 11-year-old mango trees grown in a private mango orchard in the Draw region under Aswan governorate. The evaluation parameters were characteristics related to growth, blooming, and yield that were identified in these mango cultivars. The examined cultivars exhibited a significant and broad range of variance in these parameters, according to the results. When compared to other investigated cultivars, Jolk, Shelly, Keitt, and Kent had the highest values of the most studied cultivars, in that order. Conversely, the Tommy cultivar exhibited the lowest values of the investigated attributes. The following cultivars' numerical evaluations could be sorted in descending order: Jolk, Shelly, Keitt, Kent, Naoumi, Yasmina, and Tommy, in that order. Mango CVS. Based on their growth and yield, it is suggested that Jolk, Shelly, Keitt, Kent, Naoumi, Yasmina, and Tommy be grown well in Aswan circumstances, in that order. These findings showed that cultivars Jolk, Keitt, and Yasmina are thought to be promising for achieving a high yield. | ||||
