| Abstract | ||||
| Heritage and craft industries add value to the national economy, as they largely rely on local raw materials and human creativity. They also constitute a significant cultural and artistic element rooted in Egyptian heritage. The economic structure of the state comprises interconnected sectors that are affected by changes in economic variables. The tourism sector, being an integral part of the national economy, plays an active role in generating gross national product. Therefore, tourist investment is considered one of the fundamental economic structures of the state, representing a promising activity that offers substantial opportunities for success and yields financial, economic, and social returns for stakeholders.The development of tourist investment depends on the extent of inflow of local and foreign capital, the diversity of the tourism products offered, and the demand volume in the tourism market. The tourism sector is based on a set of tourism potentials or capabilities that make it a viable field for investment and development, especially in the Upper Egypt regions, where there are significant opportunities to enhance tourism growth and benefit from the region’s unique cultural and natural resources. | ||||
