Abstract | ||||
Higher education institutions are facing rapidly evolving challenges driven by profound transformations in the global system, which now relies fundamentally on scientific advancement and accelerated technological development, supported by highly efficient advanced technologies. Consequently, it has become imperative for these institutions to engage in comprehensive programs aimed at modernizing their systems, policies, and practices—particularly in the field of human resource management and development—to ensure their ability to address internal issues and overcome operational shortcomings. In this context, the present study aimed to analyse the implications of applying artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in enhancing the efficiency of administrative systems for human resource management at Ain Shams University. The study was guided by two hypotheses: the first posits a statistically significant relationship between the level of technological and informational infrastructure at the university and the implementation of AI technologies; the second assumes a statistically significant relationship between the application of these technologies and the improvement of the efficiency of human resource administrative systems. The study was conducted in the administrative departments of the Faculty of Computers and Information at Ain Shams University through a structured survey distributed to employees. The findings confirmed both hypotheses. Based on these results, the study recommends activating regulations and legislative frameworks governing the integration of AI technologies, appointing administrative leaders with sufficient awareness and the necessary skills to engage with such technologies, as well as ensuring the availability of appropriate infrastructure and advanced devices and software, updated regularly to maintain effective implementation. | ||||
